ANN PIGGOTT PEACEFULLY PASSED AWAY IN HER SLEEP IN DECEMBER 2007 AFTER BATTLING CANCER FOR 12MONTHS WHEN BEING TOLD SHE WOULD LIVE 6-9 MONTHS HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE SO PROUD OF HER AND MISSING HER EVERYDAY THERES NOT A DAY THAT GOES BYE WITH OUT PEOPLE THINKING OF ANN. WHEN ANN WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER SHE SET HERSELF SOME GOALS SHE WANTED TO GO TO HAYDOCK RACES SO WE TOOK HER FOR THE DAY SHE WAS SO EXCITED WHEN SHE WON 20P ON HER BET SHE WANTED TO SEE HER GREAT GRANDAUGHTER BE BORN AND SHE ACHIEVED THIS GOAL AND DANIELLE GOT TO SPEND TYM WITH HER GREAT NAN BEFORE SHE DECIDED SHE WAS READY TO GO. ANN WAS ALWAYS A CHEERY PERSON N THE ONE WHO WAS PAID THE MOST ATTENTION I THINK MY BEST MEMORY OF MY NANA WAS WHEN SHE WAS 60 AND HAD A NAUGHTY-O-GRAM WE HAVE NEVER SEEN SOMEONE LAUGH SO MUCH EVERY WHERE MY NANA WAS THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMEONE THERE TO MAKE HER SMILE NOW SHE LOOKS DOWN ON US ALL MAKING SURE WE ARE NEVA SAD AND REMEMBER THE MEMORIES SHE LEFT US WITH.

Letter From Heaven.
When tomorrow starts without me,
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes,
all filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry,
the way you did today,
while thinking of the many things,
we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you,

that an Angel came and called my name,

it seemed almost impossible,
that I was leaving you.
I thought of all the yesterdays,
the good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
and all the fun we had.
If I could relive yesterday,
just even for awhile,
I'd say goodbye and kiss you
and maybe see you smile.
But then I fully realized,
that this could never be,
for emptiness and memories,
would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you, and when I did,
my heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heaven's gates,
I felt so much at home.
When God looked down and smiled at me,
from His great golden throne,
He said, "This is eternity,
and all I've promised you".
Today for life on earth is past,
but here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
but today will always last,
and since each day's the same day,
there's no longing for the past.
But you have been so faithful,
so trusting and so true.
Though there were times you did some things,
you knew you shouldn't do.
But you have been forgiven
and now at last you're free.
So won't you take my hand
and share my life with me?

What is Dying?
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says 'She is gone'.
Gone where? Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as large now as when I last saw her. Her diminished size and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.
And just at the moment when someone at my side says she is gone there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout 'There she comes!'
That is what dying is. An horizon and just the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, Oh Lord, that we may see further.

hi Ann i often sit and think about you your funeral was just beautiful your family done you proud the song they played mamma came on the other day and it bought a tear to my eye listening to it. when i used to come and visit you with Steph in the mornings before we went to the gym (a long time ago) you always had a brew on and a piece of toast and a good tale to tell your just a beautiful lady and im proud to have known you. and if you see our baby Jamie give him a big cuddle. sweetdreams xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
